Pastel art course in the Lot

The end of an intense three days teaching a pastel course at the beautiful home of fleur and francis kelly Between Salvazou and Uzech the Lot.

Despite the heat, everyone’s energy and commitment was impressive. The patience and mutual support in the group made the course an absolute pleasure.

We worked on various subjects, landscape, still life and figure around the house and garden, with a morning trip out to the lake at St Germain Du Bel air. I hope the experience of working from life will encourage everyone to go on and continue the practise of plein air painting.
