OIl painting workshop au Tympan Goujounac
This Spring I’ll be teaching an oil painting workshop in the Café associative Le Tympan in Goujounac 46250
Three days, 1-3 April 2024. 10h-17h
240€ plus 35€ adherant a l’Asso.
In the style of ‘daily painting’, we’ll be working on a variety of subjects both from life and from photo refrences. Painting on small panals helps to bring freedom and spontanaety into our work. We can gain confidence without worrying that each painting is ‘perfect’. The daily painters that I admire take objects and simple scenes to create beautiful works of art.
I’ll be demonstrating as well as explaining my method of colour mixing and laying down the oil paint. Only five colours are necessary plus a tube of white: alizeron crimson, cadmium light, ultamarine, lemon yellow and crome yellow can produce a large variety of colours to work with. Easels will be provided as well as prepared wooden panels ready for you to work on, at the price of 5€ each.
Each student is important to me and I’m passionate about helping you to create your best paintings, whatever your level of experience.
For those who wish to stay and eat at lunch time, please bring something to share. (Plates, cuttlery and glasses are all available)
In order to give maximum attention to each student, I can only take a maximum of seven people. Please e.mail me if you would like more information, or to book a place on this course.

Super Annie. T’es inscrit.
Dear Penelope,
how lovely and what good fun to visit your atelier today. I would love to join the course . Do let me know if I should pay you together with the painting I bought (well not quite yet as there was no money in the machine….). We could do that when you come to visit us on Friday.
Looking forward to seeing you again,
Benedicta
Great to meet you too Benedicta. I’ll put you down for the course. See you friday.
