Les Amis de la Maison Jacob.

There are so many cultural events going on in The Lot in Summer; exhibitions and music in every village, it’s part of what I love about living in this area of France. The Association ‘Amis de la maison Jacob’ have created an exceptionally good exhibition space for selected artists in the stunning town of Castelnau Montratier. Exhibitions change every month and the gallery is open to the public le Ouvert mercredi de 16 h 30 à 19 h 30, jeudi, vendredi et samedi de 15 h à 18 h, dimanche de 10 h 30 à 12 h 30.

This month I’ve been delighted to show some of my work with three other artists: Sculptures: Antoine Bonnet, Pyrogravure: Corinne Landreau et Techniques mixtes: Tania Fuenzalida.

The private view was a lovely occasion, well organised and friendly. The gallery vibrated with light, colour and music.

I’ll be at the gallery on Wednesday the 22nd and would be delighted to talk with anyone who drops in.

I have some of my larger works on show, including this oil of ‘The barn’, painted in the beautiful garden of my neighbour Keith.
