First Prize. International Pastel Exhibition at Giverny.
I am delighted to have won the first prize in this prestigious exhibition with my two pastels.
This week long pastel festival has been a rich and generous sharing of ideas, demonstrations, exchanges and general good humour in one of the loveliest places I can imagine.
I’ve had the chance to meet and exchange with artists from America, Belgium, Holland and Spain as well as France.

Thank you for that lovely comment Jean. I was so pleased and honoured. There are some excellent artists showing, and when I get back from Giverny, I will put up some photos of their work. I’ve had a fabulous time here. Painting alone on the Japanese bridge in the Monet gardens in the rain was one of the highlights of my life!
