Bucks Art Weeks 2019

Next month I am delighted to be participating in Bucks Art Weeks open studios, along side Brian Stainton and Dr Conny Bailey. I’ll be taking back to England some portraits, and a selection of landscapes worked from around my studio in the South West of France as well as a few painted in the water meadows behind Olney.

Brian Stainton is hosting the exhibition in his woodturning studio in Weston Underwood. With an engineering background, Brian Stainton produces mostly turned wooden items which are then textured, carved and decorated using varied techniques.

Dr Conny Bailey Lectures at Leicester University. Her very striking personal work includes decorated bowls and unique painted mirror art.

This is the first time that I’ve shown locally for many years. I hope very much to meet up with some old friends. The exhibition will be open every day from the 8th to the 23rd of June, 10am to 5pm. On Sunday June the 16th we will be hosting an open evening with demonstrations, drinks and BBQ. Please come along if you are in the area.
