Portrait of my father. Oil on board.
This portrait, 30x45cm, was painted on a wood panel covered with oil prima.
I worked rapidly in order to manipulate the paint before it dried, the portrait was completed in around four hours, but of course I know my father’s face well and have frequently painted him before.
Colours used:
Cadmium red light
Alizeron crimson,
cerulean blue
cadmium yellow
raw sienna
burnt sienna
sap green.
Flake white
