Pastel course in Gougounac.

In collaboration with the association ‘Le Tympan’ Gougounac 46250, I will be running a four day pastel course the 9th to the 12th of April 2023

I can take a maximum of 9 students. A certain level of drawing is required,

Gougounac is a very pretty village set in beautiful country side. We’ll be in the heart of it, giving us the opportunity to work in the gardens of the Prespitory and in the village itself

During four days of the course, we’ll work on subjects from observation, still lives, interiors and figures. If the weather is fair, I hope we can also sketch in the village and the gardens. I am particularly interested in exploring the visual possibilities of scenes with the model in an interior or in the garden. There will be the occasion to work on a portrait for those who wish to do sO.

Price of course: 420€ for four days including the midday meal.

There are numerous gites in and surrounding Gougounac if you are coming from a distance.

For those who would like to exhibit their pastels realised during the course, Tympan has kindly offered to allow us to exhibit our work until the end of April.

Materials

Paper

Une bloc de pastelmat, format : 30x40cm.
Au moins 4 feuilles 50x70cm pastelmat ou pastelcard ;
De préférence choisissez une couleur d’une tonalité moyenne tel que par exemple un marron, sienne ou gris chaud.

Quelques pastels utiles : vert-olive, bleu-vert, violet-marron, jaune ocre, jaune citron, marron-rouge, orange, mauve, un bleu chaud et un bleu froid, jaune clair, bleu clair.
