Pastel courses in the Lot 46

This spring I’m ready at last to begin teaching pastel courses. The studio ‘atelier d’artiste’ in Cazals can accomodate six people fairly comfortably. In the long term, I’m still looking for a larger venu,

After fifteen years of experience, I am an experienced teacher of pastel art, accomodating both beginners and pastellistes who would like to push their work on to the next level. My courses are based around the principals of observational drawing, understanding colour and tone and how to apply them into your art. I will take you through the application of pastel, mark making and colour mixing.

Our subjects will vary. I hope to work outside in the landscape, weather permitting. Still lives, portrait and figure, interiors,…each lesson I will suggest a different theme and guide you through it.

I’m proposing two saturday afternoon sessions in May; the 13th and the 27th. Also two sessions in June; the 10th and the 24th. 14h-17h. Tariff: 35€ the session.

For those coming from further away, all day sessions on a friday; May the 12th and May the 26th, as well as June the 9th and June the 23rd. 10h-17h. 70€ the session.
